KOHAT: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Kohat region foiled an attempt of terrorism while taking two wanted terrorists into custody during a raid on Thursday, official sources said.
They said the CTD arrested Khanzada and Kamran, two terrorists wanted for their involvement in blasts at a mosque in Jamrud and a taxi stand at the Karkhano Market in 2013.
CTD also recovered more than two kilograms of explosive material from their possession, sources said. The wanted men were also involved in other acts of terrorism including kidnapping for ransom. Both men were shifted to an undisclosed location for further interrogation.
